Senior Production Technologist
About this role
A senior role focusing on diagnosing well and production performance, evaluating artificial lift and interventions, and integrating well, reservoir and facility factors into production strategies for upstream oil and gas operations in Lagos. The position targets an experienced production technologist who can support production optimisation across multidisciplinary teams.
What you would do
- Provide technical assurance for production technology activities and recommendations
- Prepare technical reports, studies and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Identify and mature well intervention, stimulation, debottlenecking and optimisation opportunities
- Contribute to well integrity management and production surveillance programmes
- Support completion design, optimisation and well intervention planning
- Analyse production trends and integrate constraints into forecasts and optimisation plans
What they are asking for
- 10–15 years of relevant oil and gas experience with strong upstream E&P exposure
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in production technology, well performance analysis and completion optimisation
- Experience supporting well intervention, stimulation and production optimisation programmes
- Strong understanding of well performance, completion systems and production operations
- Membership of SPE or relevant professional body is desirable
