Senior Planning Engineer

About this role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the planning function for the ANOH project, overseeing the development, monitoring and reporting of project schedules to ensure timely delivery. The role involves coordinating with project teams, identifying schedule risks and providing mitigations, and supporting management decision making through planning and project controls within Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited’s Asset team after start up in Rivers, Nigeria.

What you would do

• Lead the discipline planning engineering team.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Provide project management support in developing the work breakdown structure, activities, logic, resources and baseline schedule.
• Generate look‑ahead schedules (short, medium and long term) and monitor progress.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and dashboards for management.
• Develop planning and control procedures, including schedule risk management and management of change processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of project controls or relevant experience in operating or subcontractor environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6; proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of project controls principles, risk management and change management.
• Experience in onshore construction is an added advantage; proven ability to deliver in challenging environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in diverse, multi‑cultural teams and manage contracts.
