Senior Officer, TB Delivery Nigeria and Ethiopia Country Support (LTE)
About this role
Senior Officer, TB Delivery supports Nigeria and Ethiopia country programmes by advising on TB case finding, data systems, and TB-HIV integration within primary health care. The role engages government partners and GF mechanisms to assess needs and coordinate technical and financial support.
What you would do
- Engage with national TB programmes and stakeholders to align support with country priorities
- Conduct assessments of TB programme performance, gaps and needs in Nigeria and Ethiopia
- Support introduction and scale-up of TB case finding tools, including Pluslife and related screening technologies
- Advise on efficient use of Global Fund and domestic resources for TB activities
- Strengthen TB data systems, surveillance, funding analyses and investment cases
- Facilitate integration of TB data flows and TB-HIV services into primary health care
What they are asking for
- Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, health systems or related field
- 8–10 years of relevant TB programme experience in sub-Saharan Africa
- Experience with Global Fund grant architecture and working with principal recipients or sub-recipients
- Proven experience with health information systems and data analysis (DHIS2 or similar)
- Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in a matrixed, multi-time-zone environment
