Senior Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Manager (Nigeria)

About this role

A Senior Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Manager is sought to lead data collection, analysis and knowledge management for EIDU Nigeria, overseeing M&E across programs and coordinating with government partners. The role focuses on designing M&E frameworks, managing end-to-end research including RCTs, and ensuring data-driven decision making within a fast-moving, education-focused organisation in Nigeria.

What you would do

• Design and implement an M&E framework for Nigeria programs.
• Lead end-to-end research and evaluation projects from scoping to dissemination.
• Manage government research engagement with state ministries and agencies.
• Lead impact evaluations including randomised controlled trials.
• Develop SOPs, tools and templates for standardised data collection and reporting.
• Identify partnerships and respond to funding opportunities to expand M&E work.

What they are asking for

• PhD or advanced degree in Social Sciences, Data Science or Education.
• 6+ years of M&E experience in international development, EdTech or education programs in Nigeria or similar LMIC contexts.
• Proven ability to build and run M&E frameworks with quantitative and qualitative methods, including RCTs.
• Strong statistical/analytical skills with STATA, R or Python.
• At least 2 years’ experience managing communications and M&E activities with government entities in Nigeria.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to engage across levels and cultures.
