Senior Manager (NES Service Delivery)

About this role

This role is for a Senior Manager in Network Enterprise Services Delivery at MTN Nigeria, based in Lagos. The position oversees the planning and delivery of network enterprise services, including managed and outsourced providers, to meet KPIs, SLAs, milestones and quality targets. It involves supporting the FBB and EB sales teams, guiding technical selling, providing first-line technical support to customers, and ensuring timely deployment of suitable technology solutions for enterprise and fibre/broadband customers.

What you would do

• Provide focus and support for FBB and EB Sales teams to achieve strategic objectives.
• Offer technical guidance to the commercial team for leveraging technology evolution.
• Strengthen technical selling skills to aid Enterprise Sales Team in attracting and retaining customers.
• Monitor requirements and oversee implementation of Network Enterprise Services and deliver first-line support to customers.
• Ensure timely planning, design, approval and deployment of technology solutions for EB and FBB customers.
• Input capacity planning for future growth of FBB and EB services to the Network Division rollout strategy.
• Coordinate deployment of EB Services and FTTH infrastructure for MTNN customers.
• Manage outsourced services contracts including tenders, evaluation, negotiation and renewal.
• Lead trials and evaluations of technical solutions and equipment for network suitability.
• Research new technology solutions and market developments to enable new capabilities for EB and FBB customers.

What they are asking for

• First degree in Engineering (Management degree an advantage).
• PMP certification would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English; local language preferred.
• 9 to 17 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role in a telecommunications company.
• Extensive project management experience and experience with new technology deployment in telecoms.
• Good understanding of fixed and mobile network technologies, voice, data and internet.
• Familiarity with MTNN project methodology and CAPEX processes; managed services and SLAs.
• Strong vendor management, negotiations, project scoping and monitoring of operations projects.
