Senior Manager - Analytics and Insight
About this role
MTN Nigeria is hiring a Senior Manager of Analytics and Insight in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role focuses on understanding customer needs to improve engagement and supports enterprise business performance through data strategy, governance and business insights. The position involves leading market insight and lead generation, pricing strategy, performance reporting, and end-to-end EB reporting. It also includes coaching staff, managing data points for EB activity reportage, and ensuring alignment with the EB business plan. What you would do
- Provide strategic direction on business performance reporting metrics across EB solutions and services.
- Lead development and management of the EB data strategy and governance.
- Develop and execute market insight and lead generation strategies.
- Monitor and analyse competitor knowledge and pricing for MTN Business products.
- Coach and train direct reports and review training needs.
- Ensure quality assurance for business plans, pricing analysis and data reporting.
- Oversee end-to-end reporting of all EB activities and KPI tracking.
- Manage lifecycle management frameworks for Enterprise Segment customers.
- Oversee feasibility assessments and post-launch market analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate commission payouts to the sales team and partners.
What they are asking for
- Master’s degree preferred (MBA advantageous).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 9 to 17 years’ work experience including at least 3 years in business analytics and market insight.
- Managerial experience of 5+ years with at least 3 years in a relevant sector.
- Experience in reporting business performance and financial analysis.
- Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
