Senior Manager - Analytics and Insight
About this role
The role is Senior Manager - Analytics and Insight in MTN Nigeria's Enterprise Business unit, based in Lagos. It focuses on developing and governing data strategy, delivering market and business insights, and supporting decision making for pricing, performance, and customer understanding. The position reports to the Chief Enterprise Business Officer and involves leading reporting, analytics, market insights, and data governance for Enterprise Business products and services across Corporate and SME segments. It requires guiding the analytics team, driving data-enabled strategy, and coordinating with other functions to ensure accurate performance measurement and informed business decisions.
What you would do
- Direct the development and management of the EB data strategy
- Lead market insight and lead generation strategies through research and partnerships
- Oversee business performance reporting for subscriber, revenue, margins, and churn
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for MTN Business product plans and solutions
- Own end‑to‑end reporting of all EB activities and ensure data integrity in financial models
- Coordinate customer lifecycle management framework for Enterprise Segments
- Review feasibility assumptions versus actual market behavior post-launch
- Ensure quality assurance for business plans, pricing analysis and reporting data
- Coach and supervise team members and conduct performance appraisals
- Manage ad hoc projects as directed by CEBO

- First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA preferred)
- Fluent in English and local language preferred
- 9–17 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in reporting business performance and financial analysis
- Experience in business analytics and market insight
- Experience in business development and cross-cultural work
- Experience in pricing, revenue management or related areas
- Ability to lead data-driven strategy and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and governance capabilities
