A growing real estate development and investment group is looking for a Senior Legal Associate to provide strategic legal guidance across corporate, commercial, real estate, regulatory compliance and governance areas. The role is based in Lagos (Yaba) and is full-time. The candidate should have Nigerian admitted practice with strong experience in corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, contract drafting and land documentation. What you would do
- Provide strategic legal advisory across corporate, commercial, real estate, regulatory compliance and governance matters.
- Draft, negotiate and review contracts and deals.
- Oversee land documentation and title verification processes.
- Support corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Advise on dispute resolution strategies and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage legal risks.
- Collaborate with other teams to support business objectives.
- Contribute to negotiations and closing of real estate transactions.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
- Fulfil other legal duties as required by the group.

- LL.B. and B.L. qualifications with admission to practice law in Nigeria.
- 7 to 10 years post-qualification experience.
