Senior Lead - Sales and Trade Development (Owerri)

About this role

A senior role in MTN Nigeria overseeing sales and trade development in Imo, leading a team to increase sales, brand visibility and channel efficiency. Targets candidates with a background in social sciences or related fields and prior supervisory experience.

What you would do

• Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, mobilize consultants, field support agents and SRAA.
• Drive increases in sales activations and product penetration within the territory.
• Review channel operations and stock levels and ensure proper stock management.
• Coach and train direct reports on objectives, targets and product knowledge.
• Review individual performance and complete appraisals in line with procedures.
• Coordinate technical activities and ensure all transaction and administrative documents are available for use.

• First degree (BSc or HND) in a social science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years post-degree experience.
• 3-7 years' experience in a similar area with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience in a medium organisation.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience using data mining tools; telecoms experience is an added advantage.
