Palladium Group is recruiting for a Senior Intervention Officer – Sustainable Land Use based in Abuja. The role focuses on leading and managing Sustainable Land Use and Forestry interventions within the Propcom+ programme, a rural and agricultural market systems development project funded by the UK FCDO. The programme aims to promote climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture and forestry, improve incomes and resilience for poor and climate-vulnerable Nigerians, and emphasises gender inclusivity in beneficiaries. The Senior Intervention Officer will coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to drive market-based changes and deliver programme results.

What you would do

• Establish and maintain relationships with state and non-state actors to support market activities.
• Conduct industry analyses of forest-risk agriculture markets and relevant subsectors.
• Provide periodic reports to support decision making.
• Manage multiple partner relationships and monitor impact for funding and technical assistance.
• Support development of business plans with project partners to attract private sector investment.
• Conduct regular field visits to ensure proper implementation of activities.
• Assess and adapt intervention strategies to changing environments and emerging priorities.
• Support investor engagement and manage the Technical Assistance portfolio.
• Develop and update strategic pipelines, workplans, and SLU strategy to meet priorities.
• Prepare factsheets and knowledge products on SLU interventions.
