Senior Internal Auditor – Systems & Procurement at HBM Nigeria Plc (formerly Lafarge), based in Lagos. The role protects IT and procurement internal controls and provides assurance to the Procurement Director via the Country Internal Control Lead. What you would do

• Protect internal IT controls and provide assurance to the Procurement Director via the Country Internal Control Lead.
• Identify IT security weaknesses and agree strategies to prevent security breaches.
• Examine IT systems to ensure adequate controls and data security.
• Test procurement controls (design, implementation and operating effectiveness) and perform root cause analyses to close gaps.
• Develop and maintain the annual Internal Control for Information Technology across subsidiaries and strategic business units; review IT controls and propose remediation strategies.
• Monitor compliance with the Purchase Requisition/PO Release Strategy.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• ISACA CISA certification or membership in a relevant professional body.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant professional experience in internal audit, internal control or assurance, preferably in a multinational organisation or Big Four firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email; familiarity with ERP platforms and business systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills with high accuracy; ability to stay up-to-date with developments in internal control and audit.
