Senior Human Resources Business Partner role for First Excelsia in Lagos. The position focuses on leading HR activities for clients, aligning HR practices with client goals, and supporting organisational development within a consulting context.
What you would do
- Act as the primary HR liaison for assigned clients and provide tailored HR solutions.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and retention strategies.
- Drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning and retention initiatives.
- Contribute to HR consulting projects, proposals, presentations, reports and client engagements.
- Keep up to date with HR technologies, trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and industry best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an in-house HR Manager or similar role within management consulting.
- Experience with HR technology solutions (HRIS, HRMS, ATS, performance management systems or HR analytics).
- Strong understanding of HR strategy, talent management, performance management, employee relations and organisational development.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across organisations or business environments.
- Membership in at least one relevant professional body.
