Senior HSE Supervisor / Coordinator

What you would do

• Supervise day-to-day HSE operations across sites
• Ensure compliance with PTW, JSA and PPE standards
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Ensure permits for critical risks (lifting, hot works, working at height)
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare HSE incident reports
• Maintain HSE registers and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Review and approve JSA, risk assessments and method statements
• Ensure environmental compliance and waste management
• Supervise HSE Officers and assistants and monitor performance
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations and client HSE requirements

What they are asking for

• BSc/HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management or related discipline
• 7-10 years in HSE roles within Oil & Gas, Construction, Fabrication, EPC or Marine sectors
• HSE Level 1-3 or NEBOSH IGC (Required)
• Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 and Internal Auditor (Preferred)
• First Aid and Fire Safety certification
• Proficiency in HSE risk assessment, PTW systems and incident investigation (Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of Nigerian safety regulations and client HSE requirements
