About this role
M-KOPA is hiring a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to lead two core growth pods initially and later move into Lifecycle. The role focuses on driving conversion to create long-term, high-value customers and expanding digital lending and repeat phones capabilities. You will own end-to-end campaigns, run experiments, and build playbooks while tracking funnel performance within a multi-channel setup. The position offers a defined path toward pod leadership with cross-pod exposure and reporting lines to the Lifecycle CRM Lead in the latter phase. The employer operates in fintech and credit, serving customers across several African markets, with remote work available within specified time zones.
What you would do
- Own reactivation and upgrade campaigns in CleverTap for the Repeat Phones pod.
- Collaborate with the Digital Lending lead to understand and grow cash loan economics and end-to-end process.
- Carry primary responsibility for Digital Lending for a defined period.
- Transition to the Lifecycle pod and contribute there full-time in the second half of the year.
- Build and run multi-channel campaigns (SMS, WhatsApp, push, in-app) aligned to pod goals.
- Track funnel performance and identify drop-off points for the pod lead.
- Run structured experiments with clear hypotheses (creative, audience, incentive, timing).
- Document successful strategies into repeatable playbooks for future use.
- Ensure data quality and tracking accuracy to maintain leadership trust in numbers.
What they are asking for
- 5+ years in growth, performance or lifecycle marketing, ideally in fintech, telco, or e-commerce.
- Ability to own campaign and pod outcomes, not just participate in them.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., CleverTap, Braze) and reading funnels/cohorts.
- Strong judgement and readiness for pod leadership and cross-pod responsibility.
- Comfort working across two pods and transitioning to a third in mid-year.
- Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders across multiple pods.
