Senior Geoscientist
About this role
ND Western Limited in Delta is seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join its Technical team. The role targets an experienced geoscientist with at least ten years in the oil and gas industry, specialising in exploration, reservoir characterisation and seismic interpretation. The candidate should have advanced skills in Petrel, GeoGraphix and 3D modelling tools and a proven track record in prospect generation and field development planning.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Geosciences, Geology, Geophysics or a related field
- Master's degree or professional membership (e.g., NAPE, AAPG) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in geoscience within the oil and gas industry, with a background in exploration, reservoir characterisation and seismic interpretation
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard geoscientific software, including Petrel, GeoGraphix and 3D modelling tools
- Expertise in 2D/3D seismic interpretation, subsurface structural mapping, velocity modelling, sequence stratigraphy and petrophysical integration
- Track record in prospect generation, volumetric hydrocarbon estimation, exploration risk assessment, well placement optimisation and field development planning (FDP)
