Senior Finance Officer
About this role
Senior Finance Officer needed by Machine and Equipment Corporation Africa Limited (MECA) in Lagos. The role supports financial operations, planning, reporting and compliance for the company’s industrial and commercial objectives, targeting experienced finance professionals with leadership experience.
What you would do
- Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity requirements
- Oversee procurement and project-related expenditure and financial activities
- Support the Finance and Accounts team in delivering financial functions timely
- Conduct financial analysis and evaluate projects, investments and business initiatives
- Prepare financial reports and provide analysis for management and stakeholders
- Offer financial support for business development, funding and strategic projects and assist with audits and regulatory reporting
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN
- Minimum 7 years progressive financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, taxation and corporate governance
- Experience in investment analysis, project finance and financial modelling
- Proficiency with financial management systems, ERP and accounting software
