Senior Finance Officer
About this role
A Senior Finance Officer is needed to oversee the financial operations for a FMCG supply chain business, covering planning, reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance. The role targets candidates with FMCG or supply chain finance experience and proficiency in accounting software.
What you would do
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Develop and manage budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
- Manage accounts payable, receivable and treasury functions
- Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements
- Supervise the finance team and provide leadership
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA is an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Finance within FMCG or Supply Chain
- Experience in inventory accounting, distributor finance, cash flow management and working capital management desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics or ERP systems)
- Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills
