A senior level finance and accounts position based in Lagos (Lekki Phase 1) for a reputable company. The role focuses on providing financial guidance, managing finance and accounts administration, and supporting planning and decision‑making. What you would do

• Ensure compliance and prepare statutory returns
• Analyse financial data to identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, or non‑compliance
• Report errors to the MD promptly
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audited report
• Safeguard and retrieve financial records as needed
• Maintain statutory and audit documentation for payments (taxes, levies, VAT, etc.)
• Develop and monitor operating budgets for profitability
• Establish and enforce asset and records custody procedures
• Identify training needs and organise staff development
• Supervise payroll processing and ensure regulatory compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• MBA is an advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Accounts Officer in a medium/large company
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and management skills
• Treasury and investment management experience
• People and performance management abilities
• Ability to interpret financial reports for management decisions
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Associate member of ACA or similar professional certification
• Fraud prevention, detection and investigation skills
