Senior Engineer - Production

About this role

A senior engineering role at Dangote in Ogun, responsible for managing and monitoring the operation and process control of kilns, raw mills, cement mills and coal mills. What you would do

• Operate Raw Mill, Kiln, Cement & Coal Mills and related equipment from the Central Control Room during shifts.
• Train and mentor newly hired CCR operators on operational practices.
• Coordinate autonomous maintenance with shift patrollers to achieve equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and implement actions to keep equipment running.
• Aim for optimum fuel efficiency, power use and workforce utilisation.
• Ensure production adheres to ISO systems and safety standards in the department.
• Ensure product quality meets internal specifications.
• Identify development needs and pursue improvements.
• Relieve other Kiln CCR operators when on leave and take on additional duties as assigned by management.
