Senior Electrical Engineer (Project Contract) for Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited in Lagos. The role provides electrical engineering support for surface production systems, mentors junior engineers and contributes to power system design and project delivery.

What you would do

• Provide electrical engineering support for surface production systems design, testing, pre-commissioning and start-up
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and share knowledge within the team
• Evaluate and optimise power systems in projects
• Support the design of electrical power systems to meet load demands using electrical power tools
• Check, review and approve electrical documentation for assigned projects
• Interface with the contractor's electrical team during the engineering phase

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• NSE/COREN professional qualification
• Minimum 7 years oil and gas industry experience
• Knowledge of transient, stability and steady-state motor starting studies, short-circuit calculations, design philosophy and criteria, and cable sizing
• Experience with plant sizing, onshore field construction, installation and commissioning; expertise in process, instrument, control and ESD systems and software
• Ability to specify key technical studies, manage design changes and contribute to project cost estimates
