What you would do
- Prepare technical specifications, purchase requisitions and technical evaluations for electrical systems in a combined-cycle power plant.
- Design and prepare BOQs/BOMs for electrical equipment, lighting, cabling and related systems.
- Conduct short-circuit studies, relay coordination and protection settings for plant electrical systems.
- Prepare and review SLDs, three-line diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts and control diagrams.
- Size and specify MV/LV switchgear, DC/UPS, emergency generators and related equipment.
- Create electrical load lists, cable sizing calculations and equipment sizing calculations.
- Prepare electrical grounding, lightning protection and cable routing plans.
- Develop and review diagrams for protection schemes and interlocking systems.
- Collaborate with discipline leads and engineers to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout projects.

- Experience with GTG, STG, GSUT, UAT, GCB, IPBD, MV/LV switchgear, HRSG, motors, transformers, bus ducts, cable trays, duct banks, fuel gas skids and earthing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
