Senior Design & Application Engineer

About this role

INTECH Process Automation is hiring a Senior Design & Application Engineer for Rivers. The role involves designing and implementing hardware for control systems such as DCS, SIS, and FGS, with experience in DeltaV, Yokogawa, PI and GE Mark VI. The engineer will analyse customer specifications, perform testing and commissioning, and contribute to projects in oil and gas, petrochemicals, utilities and renewables. What you would do

• Design and implement hardware for control systems including DCS, SIS, and FGS
• Ensure compliance with major industrial standards across project phases
• Analyse customer specifications such as FRS, P&IDs, C&Es and related drawings
• Conduct system testing and Factory Acceptance Testing for control systems
• Perform site commissioning and startup activities
• Utilise Microsoft Office to prepare technical documentation and reports
• Communicate technical information effectively with stakeholders

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and control systems
• Hands-on experience with 2–3 PLC platforms (eg, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric)
• Exposure to 1–2 DCS platforms (eg, DeltaV, Yokogawa, GE Mark VI)
• Strong instrumentation knowledge including field instruments and control valves
• Basic understanding of electrical and solar power systems integration
• Prior site services experience and willingness to travel/stay on-site for extended periods
