Senior Construction Supervisor

About this role

Lead and coordinate field support activities for construction, fabrication, maintenance or project work, ensuring the work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with approved requirements. The role is based in Lagos and suited to candidates with relevant technical qualifications or substantial field experience in construction or fabrication supervision, able to work with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, materials, logistics and operations teams.

What you would do

• Plan daily activities, allocate resources and coordinate work fronts and interfaces.
• Review work packs, drawings, schedules, permits and job requirements before execution.
• Monitor productivity, quality, progress and compliance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, materials, logistics and operations teams.
• Identify constraints, resolve routine field issues and escalate matters requiring management action.
• Prepare daily progress, manpower, quality and activity reports.

• Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognised professional certification suitable to the discipline.
• Substantial field experience in construction or fabrication supervision.
• Experience in industrial, construction, oil and gas, marine or related projects is preferred.
• Leadership, coordination and reporting abilities.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality.
• Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications as required by client, site or standards.
