What you would do

• Oversee day-to-day broiler production activities
• Monitor flock health, growth and feed efficiency
• Maintain biosecurity measures on the farm
• Manage water, litter and environmental conditions
• Oversee vaccination and health interventions
• Record and report on body weight, feed conversion and performance
• Manage mortality and deviations from standards
• Supervise Farm Attendants
• Ensure compliance with production targets
• Maintain farm records and reporting

What they are asking for

• Bachelors degree or equivalent (BSc / HND / ND) in Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, Agricultural Technology or related field
• Practical knowledge of commercial broiler production
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for Officer II
• Experience in large-scale commercial poultry operation is an advantage
• Poultry production certification or training will be an advantage
• Candidates with stronger experience may be considered for Officer I/Senior Farm Officer positions
