Aldelia Limited is seeking a Senior Buyer based in Rivers. The role involves managing purchasing activities for the Lab Office, handling procurement processes from requisition review to order placement, and ensuring compliance with internal rules and applicable laws. What you would do
- Analyse purchase requisitions for material specifications and budgeting.
- Organise tenders, calls for quotation and supplier evaluations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and prices.
- Issue and manage purchase orders and ensure receipt and payment.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve order discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Maintain contract documentation and use procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, NIPEX, UGORA) for efficiency.
- Coordinate with Duet and other Métier Partners on contract strategy and awards.
- Prepare and validate terms and conditions for complex contracts.
- Support handover of contracts to the relevant business partner and assist in claims or disputes where needed.
