Senior Business Development Manager

Alan & Grant in Lagos seeks a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, drive revenue generation, and win strategic clients within the fintech ecosystem. What you would do
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with growth objectives.
- Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities in fintech and financial services.
- Build and manage relationships with key clients, merchants, financial institutions and strategic partners.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
- Drive account growth through client retention, cross-selling and upselling.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Partnerships or related commercial role, preferably within fintech, payments, banking or technology.
- Proven track record of acquiring clients, closing complex B2B deals and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of fintech products, digital payments and the financial services ecosystem.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
