Senior Accountant

What you would do
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee ledger entries.
- Monitor supplier payments and customer invoices; track receivables and ensure timely settlements.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with budget preparation and investigate cost variances.
- Ensure tax computation, filing and remittance comply with statutory requirements.
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate financial closing activities and ensure complete records.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in oil and gas upstream or servicing industry; EPCI project experience is a plus.
- ICAN or ACA certification is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
