What you would do
- Patrol facilities and grounds to identify safety, environmental, or threat issues and report them.
- Check doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
- Inspect potential entry points and report improper access.
- Respond to safety and security concerns including fire, theft, vandalism, trespass, bomb threats, and illegal entry.
- Notify appropriate personnel and, if needed, contact police or other agencies.
- Engage with visitors in a professional, Christlike manner and assist as necessary.
- Coordinate with outside agencies and other church departments.
- Submit written incident reports for suspicions or unusual events.
- Participate in ongoing security training.
