What you would do
- Patrol facilities and grounds to identify safety, environmental, or threat issues and report concerns.
- Check doors, windows and gates to ensure security.
- Inspect potential entry points and report improper access.
- Demonstrate professional, courteous conduct and involve police if necessary.
- Respond to safety concerns such as fire, theft, vandalism, or trespass.
- Identify and report hazards including unauthorized persons and suspicious activity.
- Respond to calls for first aid and medical assistance as needed.
- Interact professionally with external agencies and other departments.
- Submit written incident reports for security-related events.
- Participate in security training and maintain readiness for higher risk environments.
