Security Manager

About this role

A Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel safety, security, fire-life safety and loss prevention in Lagos, ensuring Hyatt standards and Nigerian regulations are followed while protecting guests, staff and assets. The role requires managerial experience and a focus on risk management, emergency response and compliance.

What you would do

• Manage 24/7 security operations including patrols, CCTV monitoring and access control.
• Protect hotel assets, conduct investigations and maintain incident reports and evidence.
• Lead emergency response, evacuation drills and crisis management.
• Coordinate fire-system maintenance and inspections with Lagos authorities.
• Recruit, train and supervise security staff and contract guards; deliver security and fire-safety training.
• Provide security for VIPs, weddings, conferences and high-profile events; maintain security presence and reporting.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality or similar field.
• Previous managerial experience.
