Security Guard

About this role

The Dangote Group in Ogun is hiring a Security Guard. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, securing exits and responding to alarms; it is open to members of the local community.

What you would do

• Conduct regular inspections and patrols of premises to ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor property entrances and authorise entry for personnel and vehicles as needed.
• Identify and report suspicious behaviours or incidents promptly.
• Secure all exits, doors and windows to maintain the integrity of the property.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and security incidents, implementing appropriate measures.
• Compile and submit detailed reports of daily surveillance activities and any unusual occurrences.

• Minimum of SSCE certificate.
• Must be a member of the local community.
• Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Report writing experience and strong critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defence.
