Security Coordinator for the Port Harcourt Main Base (PHC) in Rivers, responsible for coordinating security activities at the base and staff residential areas. The role involves managing security personnel, access control, and emergency readiness in a high‑risk environment.

What you would do

• Coordinate security operations at the Port Harcourt Main Base and staff residential areas, including supervision of 388 security personnel.
• Develop and implement a security service plan for security personnel; establish standards for effective access control; oversee visitor screening and the use of security gadgets and tools.
• Process security requests such as guards and VMS approvals, and escalate where necessary.
• Plan and provide security for events and functions at the base, including Ogoja club and main base parties, in coordination with other security outfits; prepare emergency response teams.
• Assign guard coordinators and set up beats/teams for effective monitoring; collect intelligence for analysis and monitor performance.
• Conduct security risk assessments, ensure compliance with rules and standards, report breaches or incidents, and participate in Port‑Harcourt security performance meetings.

• University degree or HND in social sciences, arts or engineering.
• 5 to 10 years experience in armed forces or security organisation.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector is an added advantage.
