Sector Head, Transportation
About this role
Sector Head, Transportation role based in Lagos for a banking sector client. Responsible for managing relationships with airlines, shipping, maritime, road, rail, and logistics clients, driving sector growth and coordinating day-to-day unit activities. Requires leadership, credit analysis and sector expertise with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
What you would do
- Cross-sell the bank's products within the sector.
- Identify and generate profitable assets and stable funding sources.
- Monitor market trends and inform management on opportunities and risks.
- Develop and implement business plans, targets and marketing goals for the Transportation Sector.
- Review and manage customer balances, transactions and credit facilities within the sector.
- Lead, train and supervise unit staff to deliver on targets and service quality.

- First degree or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Related professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of cognate experience in the assigned sector(s).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of credit analysis, bank credit culture, policies and procedures.
