About this role

Sectional Head, Instrumentation at Dangote's Ogun plant oversees maintenance, reliability and calibration of field instrumentation and control systems across the cement plant. The role leads the instrumentation team and drives preventive and corrective maintenance while managing operational budgets and safety compliance.

What you would do

• Oversee maintenance of field instrumentation across cement plant assets.
• Maintain process control loops and calibration of instruments.
• Manage PLC systems and related hardware, including weighing systems and process analysers.
• Lead calibration programme and ensure documentation and bypass governance.
• Drive preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance and perform root cause analysis.
• Lead the instrumentation team and manage SAP work orders, inventory and budgets.

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of total industrial plant experience.
• At least 10 years of recent cement plant experience.
