Sectional Head, Electrical
About this role
A leadership role overseeing electrical maintenance and operations at Dangote Cement, focused on ensuring reliable production equipment and adherence to safety and maintenance standards. Targeted at senior electrical engineers with extensive post-qualification experience in cement manufacturing.
What you would do
- Coordinate and support corrective maintenance in the workshop with section heads
- Ensure electrical maintenance activities are safe and align with industry standards and OEM recommendations
- Supervise technical staff and provide expertise as needed
- Enforce accident prevention and occupational health procedures
- Propose solutions to improve equipment reliability and optimize costs
- Ensure safekeeping of materials, tools and equipment and compliance with safety regulations
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of cement products and manufacturing processes
- Expertise in maintenance management methods, predictive inspection tools and CMMS
- Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering and inventory management
- Good knowledge of safety, quality, environmental and occupational health standards and TPM
