Sectional Accountant (Entry Level)
About this role
The advert is for an entry level Sectional Accountant at Leomarkz Integrated Services Limited, based in Emene, Enugu. The role supports financial record-keeping, transaction monitoring and reporting within the company’s manufacturing operations. What you would do
- Maintain accurate financial records for the assigned production section or department
- Record and monitor daily transactions, expenses and other financial activities
- Reconcile financial records with source documents and supporting schedules
- Monitor inventory-related transactions and assist with stock reconciliation
- Prepare periodic financial reports and submit them by deadlines
- Identify and report discrepancies, unusual transactions or missing documentation
- Collaborate with Accounts, Stores, Production and Audit teams to ensure proper documentation and accountability
- Support internal checks and other accounting duties as assigned
What they are asking for
- A degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
- High attention to detail, integrity and willingness to learn
- Ability to work on-site in Emene, Enugu State, Monday to Saturday
- Added advantage: experience in audit, inventory control, stock reconciliation or manufacturing operations
