What you would do
- Maintain CMMS data and reports, including schedules, work orders, backlog, equipment records, and maintenance KPIs.
- Analyse maintenance performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in planning and scheduling plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities.
- Monitor work order progress and address delays to improve schedule adherence.
- Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with operations, maintenance teams, contractors and stakeholders to minimise production impact.
- Manage resource planning for manpower, tools, equipment, spare parts and contractor needs.
What they are asking for
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Production Engineering, Operations Management or related technical discipline; or ND with relevant maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
- Professional certifications in CMMS administration, HSE, project management, SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), maintenance planning and scheduling (added advantage).
- Minimum of five years' industrial experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, coordination, shutdown planning or related maintenance support in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS/SAP PM or equivalent, and strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work cross-functionally.
