What you would do
- Inspect workplaces, communities, kitchens, food establishments and sanitation facilities.
- Monitor waste collection, segregation and disposal processes.
- Ensure proper drainage, sewage systems and vector control.
- Verify compliance with sanitation and public health regulations.
- Ensure potable water quality and safe wastewater disposal.
- Inspect food vendors for hygiene compliance.
- Collect water, food and environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
- Report non-compliance to OH Coordinator and recommend corrective measures.
- Maintain inspection registers, reports and photographic evidence.
- Supervise fumigation, fogging and pest control activities.
