Salon and Spa Manager

About this role

The role is for a Salon and Spa Manager in Abuja, employed full-time by Domeo Resources International. The manager oversees all salon and spa operations to ensure a seamless guest experience, supervises staff, supports administrative tasks, and helps achieve financial and marketing goals. The position reports to the Managing Director and has cashiers and a marketing executive as direct reports. What you would do

• Manage all aspects of guest service and act as the first point of contact for concierge and guest issues.
• Resolve daily discrepancies including cash till drops and till reconciliation.
• Oversee day-to-day salon and spa operations to ensure smooth running.
• Assist the General Manager with administrative duties.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory of retail items and linen; track cost of sales and asset accountability.
• Assist with budgeting, equipment purchases within budget and safety/service objectives.
• Monitor inventory control to support guest needs and maintenance of spa standards.
• Conduct staff training when required.
• Build and maintain guest rapport and uphold exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist in managing profit and loss statements, budgets, and weekly forecasts; contribute to marketing and PR initiatives; seek sales opportunities during shifts; manage guest profiles and satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, hospitality management or related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Proven experience in spa or hospitality management focused on guest services and operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead and motivate staff.

• Basic financial knowledge: budgeting, expense tracking and revenue forecasting.
• Familiarity with spa treatments, techniques and industry trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spa management systems and social media platforms.
