Sales Support Officer
About this role
This role is for a proactive Sales Support Officer to assist the sales team with customer management, quotations, order processing, and coordination of sales activities. It is suitable for someone with a background in chemistry or a related scientific field and at least two years of sales experience.
What you would do
- Use and maintain CRM and sales-support systems
- Respond to customer inquiries with accurate product information
- Prepare quotations, proposals, sales presentations and product documentation
- Provide administrative and technical support to the sales team
- Maintain records of customers, sales activities, orders and quotations
- Assist with product demonstrations and customer presentations as needed
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or sales support experience
- B.Sc./HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or a related scientific discipline
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Experience using CRM/ERP systems is an advantage
