Sales Specialist - Channel Distribution
About this role
A full-time Sales Specialist - Channel Distribution role based in Lagos, focused on expanding market coverage, growing the distributor and partner network, and ensuring product availability across assigned territories. It targets candidates with experience in channel sales and distributor management who can support partner performance and market development.
What you would do
- Support channel promotions and brand visibility initiatives
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, resellers and retail partners
- Ensure compliance with pricing, policies and channel agreements
- Monitor partner performance against sales targets and KPIs
- Provide product knowledge, sales tools and promotional materials to partners
- Conduct partner visits, business reviews, and onboarding of new channel partners
What they are asking for
- 4–7 years’ experience in channel sales, distributor management, indirect sales or territory sales
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Ability to conduct field visits and manage sales activities across territories
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience managing or supporting distributors, dealers, resellers or retail partners
- Experience in energy, consumer electronics, solar, FMCG, telecoms or related sectors is an added advantage
