Sales Representative
About this role
A Sales Representative is sought for a full-time role in Abuja (Jabi) to assist customers, promote and sell products, and help meet store sales and operational targets. The position involves delivering customer service, maintaining an attractive sales floor, processing transactions where required, and supporting inventory and merchandising tasks. The role reports to the Store Manager or Sales Supervisor and requires contributing to a positive shopping experience and achieving sales targets. What you would do
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and availability.
- Engage customers, identify needs, and recommend suitable products.
- Upsell and cross-sell to increase revenue.
- Promote products, offers, discounts, and campaigns.
- Welcome and assist customers promptly and professionally.
- Address customer enquiries and complaints, escalating when needed.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well displayed.
- Ensure products are labelled, priced, and displayed per standards.
- Process purchases and record sales accurately when assigned.

- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or similar roles.
- Experience in supermarkets, departmental stores, or retail environments is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
