Sales Officer

About this role

Kaplo Africa is seeking a high-performing Sales Officer to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and business development across Lagos, Abuja and Kano. The role is restricted to candidates with proven sales experience in the financial services industry. It involves promoting Kaplo's financial products and managing client relationships to grow the business.

What you would do

• Acquire new customers and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Generate leads through direct sales, referrals, networking and other channels.
• Promote Kaplo's financial products and services to prospective customers.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to onboarding.
• Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.

What they are asking for

• 2–5 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience in commercial banking, lending firms, microfinance banks, asset management or investment companies is advantageous.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer acquisition and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities; solid understanding of financial products.
• Willingness to work on-site and conduct field/business development activities; able to show evidence of past sales results.
