Sales Manager - Industrial Forklift
About this role
A full-time Sales Manager role based in Lagos focused on leading business development and sales of industrial forklifts and material-handling equipment for manufacturing and industrial clients. The position involves directing the sales team, building key account relationships, and coordinating with technical and after-sales teams.
What you would do
- Lead negotiations, quotations, proposals and contract discussions
- Guide and monitor the sales team performance
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Collaborate with technical and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead sales activities for forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Identify market opportunities and manage the sales pipeline and key accounts
What they are asking for
- Direct experience in forklift or material-handling equipment sales is highly preferred
- Record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Automobile Engineering
- Strong network in manufacturing and industrial sectors
- Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation and business development skills
- 6–8 years of relevant industrial/technical sales experience
