Palmpay Limited is hiring a Sales Manager for the Buy Now Pay Later BNPL unit. The role based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom involves coordinating with underwriting, verification and collections to enable customer approvals, disbursement and onboarding, and supervising BNPL sales promoters at partner stores. The manager ensures promoters hit financing sales targets, maintain proper KYC, follow BNPL processes and deliver good customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring promoter performance, coaching, supporting field teams, maintaining store relations, driving sales targets, handling escalations, managing in-store display and stock, ensuring accurate KYC, working with underwriting to resolve applications, enforcing risk controls, and submitting daily reports. Requirements include prior leadership of field teams, strong analytics and reporting skills, knowledge of onboarding, KYC and credit processes, willingness to work across multiple stores, good communication and customer service, 2–3 years of sales supervision experience (BNPL/fintech preferred), and a relevant degree (HND/BSc in Business, Marketing or related field).

What you would do

• Track promoter performance and store issues
• Coach and support promoters in the field
• Maintain relationships with store managers
• Oversee BNPL sales promoter performance
• Drive daily, weekly and monthly financing sales targets and conversion rates
• Handle escalated customer issues on eligibility, repayment and terms
• Manage device display standards and stock rotation in partner stores
• Ensure complete and accurate KYC documentation from promoters
• Liaise with underwriting and verification teams to resolve applications
• Prepare and submit daily sales and operational reports
