The Sales Manager leads the sales function for Transport Services Limited's automotive business in Lagos. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, growing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and leading a sales team to drive revenue growth and expand market share across assigned territories.
What you would do
- Develop and implement sales strategies and annual plans to meet revenue, profitability and market-share targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across fleet operators, transport and logistics firms, construction companies, government agencies, dealerships and corporate customers.
- Expand customer base and strengthen market presence in assigned territories.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth and retention.
- Lead negotiations with customers and monitor sales performance against KPIs, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture and collaborating with other departments.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related discipline.
- Professional certification or membership of a recognised professional body (advantage).
- Proven experience in automotive sales, commercial sales or sales and marketing, preferably within automotive, transportation, fleet or related industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales and business objectives.
- Experience managing key accounts, developing new business and leading a sales team (preferred).
- Good understanding of the automotive market, customer segments and industry trends.
