Sales Executive
About this role
The role is a Sales Executive position with Glovo in Abuja. You will partner with local stores and larger brands to feature them on the Glovo platform, working with a local cross-functional team and owning the end-to-end sales cycle from lead to onboarding and early performance.
What you would do
- Partner with local stores and large brands to feature them on the Glovo platform
- Identify trendy establishments in your city across categories such as restaurants, fashion, cosmetics and more
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: qualification, pitching, negotiation, deal submission, onboarding and early performance
- Meet monthly and quarterly targets defined by the company; report daily on calls and visits
- Coordinate with internal teams (Content, Operations, Finance) to unblock onboarding and activation for partners
- Monitor partner activity after launch and address underperformance as needed

- At least 2 years in Sales, Business Development or customer-facing roles; experience in food delivery, hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Energetic and resilient with a hunter mentality
- Comfortable with CRM tools, sales data and performance tracking; strong data literacy
- Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
- Commercial judgement to prioritise partners that deliver long-term value
