The Sales Engineer role is based in Ikeja, Lagos and focuses on hitting sales targets for RPM brands and Fuchs lubricants, growing the customer base in the Nigerian market, and supplying technical sales support to clients in the assigned territory.
What you would do
- Achieve the agreed sales budget for RPM brands.
- Develop sales in the assigned industry segment through direct visits and contracted freelancers.
- Grow sales of Fuchs lubricants in the Nigerian market.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers through account management.
- Assess customer applications to ensure the correct product representation and maintain product integrity.
- Report daily, weekly and monthly on sales activities using sales tools and databases.
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in any related field; advantage for Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Not more than 3 years of sales experience.
- Experience in sales, with advantage in engineering spares or lubricants.
- Experience selling to industries such as FMCG, F&B, Construction or Cement is an advantage.
- Enjoys selling and is willing to be hands-on when required; ambitious and performance-driven.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; resilience and tenacity; ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
