Sales Engineer

About this role

Hexagon Engineering Ltd seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales of mechanical and electrical engineering products and solutions to manufacturing and FMCC companies in Lagos and Ogun States, including Agbara, Ota and Atan. The role involves identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and providing technical sales support across the sales cycle.

What you would do

• Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities within manufacturing and FMCC companies.
• Promote and sell mechanical and electrical engineering products, equipment, and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive long-term growth.
• Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to understand customer requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and tender documents; negotiate contracts to close sales.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams to deliver customised solutions and provide after-sales support.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong network and understanding of local manufacturing markets in Lagos and Ogun States, including Agbara, Ota, and Atan.
• Ability to identify and develop sales opportunities for engineering products and solutions.
• Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals and tender documents and presenting to clients.
