Tonia Pharmacy Limited is seeking a full-time Sales Assistant to work across its branches. The role involves handling payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining cash accountability while delivering good customer service in line with company policies and regulatory standards. The position reports to the Branch Manager or Superintendent Pharmacist and supports both pharmacy and supermarket sales. What you would do

• Process payments via cash, POS, and transfers and issue receipts/invoices
• Ensure correct pricing, discounts and promotions are applied
• Balance cash register at start and end of each shift
• Greet customers and respond to product, price, and policy inquiries
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed
• Safeguard POS machines and cash handling tools
• Record all transactions accurately in the system
• Prepare end-of-day financial summaries and daily sales reports
• Support sales through upselling and cross-selling of items
• Assist with stock documentation and shelf monitoring when assigned
